To mark the start of the New Year we spent the day with children at John Smale in Belmont ,Bulawayo. We treated the children and staff to a Steers lunch, donated groceries, and pads for the young ladies there. Our immediate aim is to raise funds for disadvantaged children to help with their school expenses and to equip them with the appropriate school gear as we attempt to level the education field. As we start the New Year we have 2 big projects, the 30 wheelchairs and the 50 mattresses initiatives as we continue with our focus of finding and funding education for vulnerable and children living with disability in our communities. We need your support for these dreams to come trueYour support be it, your time as a volunteer, donations cash or kind is most welcome. We have local and international donors and all those wishing to donate or volunteer please visit our website and register.

Sam’s story 🌞From the deepest depths of our being, thank you to one of our donors for a thoughtful gift of a wheelchair to Sam. Your gift has not only greatly changed Sam’s life but also his grandmother’s who looks after him. Sam is an orphan, living with a disability and has never been to school. Your gift of a wheelchair has given Sam the opportunity to move around and improve his physical health as well as improve his quality of life. By Sam using the wheelchair it will reduce pressure sores and improve his respiration and digestion concerns . Sam is also in need of adult diapers, vaseline for the hardened tummy, toys, blankets and groceries. If you wish to give to Sam be it cash or kind, kindly follow the link to our website. http://ithembelihlefoundation.org/“In joined hands there is still some token of hope, in the clinched fist none.”Together we can give Sam a new story, a new reality.

As the saying goes “When you share a cupcake, you share love” and that is what we shared at QUEACH on the 30th of January, 2022. On this day we met to share a cupcake and love as we celebrated one of our donor’s birthday’s with the children at QUEACH. It was a day filled with beautiful music, heartfelt gratitude and fun and laughter from the children who live at the centre as well as our valuable staff. Our main focus is child education and empowerment. We currently have 25 children in primary school who are beneficiaries to our first academic scholarships. However, once in a while, we do stop by to spread the spirit of cheer and love to children and there is nothing as amazing as a child’s gratitude and love shown by a big thank you smile. We wish to thank our amazing volunteers who make this all possible through their dedication to spreading our story of hope.
